Aforemost Microfinance Bank in Abujarequires the services of the following experienced personnel to join it's teamimmediately:
(I) ACCOUNTANT
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
o To receive & processall invoices, expense forms and requests for payments
o Verify calculations &input codes into the account systems in an accurate manner
o To maintain &reconcile direct debit mandates
o to ensure filling is donein a timely and accurate manner
o Assist in budgetpreparations, book keeping and salary administartion
o Prepare checks forpayments
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
o B.Sc/ HND Accounting
o ACA/ ANAN certification-but where this is not available years of experience will suffice, provided candidate isknowledgeable in accounting functions
o knowledge of accountingsoftware or be a fast learner
o 1-3 years experience in afinancial institution
o Must be computer literate
(II) AUDITOR
o Establish internal controlpolicies for accounting to ensure that financial information is accurate toprevent fraud
o Examines records ofdepartments to ensure recording of transactions and ensure compliance withapplicable laws and regulations
o Review recordsperiodically pertaining to material assets as equipment and building to ensureoptimal utilisation
o Conduct audits and duediligence for management to assess the effectiveness of controls of financialrecords & effectiveness of operations
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
o B.SC/ HND Accountancy
o Professional qualificationas ACA, ICAN, ANAN will be an added advantage
o 2-3 years experience in afinancial institution or audit firm
o Must be computer literate
o Must possess integrity
